Below is the 2026 Parade Schedule for reference only.
The 2026 Line-up will be posted and communicated to participants as the event approaches.
7:30am - Parade Entry Check-in on the 4th of July Opens
Parade entry check-in is located at Woodsworth Lane and Contra Costa Blvd. When you check in, you will be given your parade position number. Position numbers will be written on the street along Woodsworth and Cleaveland Rd.
A final list of the parade line-up will be posted here a few days before the 4th of July
9:30am - Downtown Parade Begins
The Pleasant Hill Downtown Parade begins on Cleveland Road next to Pleasant Hill Park, turns LEFT onto Trelany Road next to City Hall, then turns RIGHT onto Gregory Road. It then turns RIGHT onto Contra Costa Boulevard and RIGHT again onto Crescent Drive. Finally, the parade ends at Boyd Road.
10:30pm - Parade End
Parade Route
- Entries line up along Woodsworth Ln. and Cleaveland Rd.
- When the parade begins, you will proceed along Cleaveland Rd, cross Gregory Ln, and turn LEFT at Trelany Rd.
- Next you will turn RIGHT on Gregory Ln. and head towards Contra Costa Blvd.
- Turn RIGHT onto Contra Costa Blvd.
- Turn RIGHT on Crescent Dr. and continue along crossing Crescent Plaza
- Turn RIGHT on Boyd Rd. and the parade ends at Cleaveland Rd.
Pleasant Hill 4th of July was founded in 1972 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to organizing the 4th of July celebration. Our parade starts after the 5k at 9:30am until 10:30am. Our participants are local businesses, organization's and community leaders.
