The 2022 18th Annual Firecracker 5K Run and Walk is a fundraising benefit for Pleasant Hill schools.
The run has raised over $170,000 and continues to grow each year. So, gather up the family, dress-up in your best patriotic gear, and come out for a run!
Race date: Monday, July 4th, 2022
Time: 7:45am
100 Yard Dash – 7 years and younger: FREE (DOES NOT INCLUDE RACE T-SHIRT)
5K – Per Person: $40 – (INCLUDES RACE T-SHIRT)
Online registration is closed, but you can still register in-person on the 4th before the race begins.
Be sure to arrive early! Race starts at 8am sharp!
Can I decide which Pleasant Hill school receives my fundraising donation?
Yes! During the registrations process, you will be asked to designate which Pleasant Hill school you would like to received the net proceeds of your registration fee.
Can I pick-up my race bib before the 4th July?
Bib & race t-shirt pick-up at JACK’S in Pleasant Hill on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, from 10am – 12noon.
Is there a 4th of July 5K t-shirt?
Yes. However, a t-shirt is NOT guarnteed if you register AFTER June 27th. We hope to have enough t-shirts for all runners.
What is the course?
The 5K race begins at 8am sharp. It is 3 laps around Downtown Pleasant Hill. To ensure that it is an official 5K, the starting line is on Gregory Lane next to Bed, Bath, & Beyond. 3 Laps around downtown and then the finish line is in front of the clock tower on Crescent Dr. SEE 5K COURSE MAP BELOW.
The 100 dash is begins at 7:50am sharp. It will be run on Crescent Drive.
