The 4th of July Commission began 45 years ago in 1976 to celebrate our county’s 200th bicentennial. The mission of this commission was always to provide a safe, family-friendly event for the Pleasant Hill community to celebrate the 4th of July.
It has grown into the city’s largest single-day event and attracts thousand of residents from Pleasant Hill and other surrounding communities.
