Thank you for visiting the Pleasant Hill 4th of July’s website.
As you can see, the Commission’s Board of Directors, Chairpersons and volunteers have arranged for a number of activities to entertain you on the 4th of July.
Our goal is to serve this great community of ours and honor our nation’s birthday by organizing a full day of activities that will be interesting and fun for all generations.
The day begins with a 100 yard dash for kids 7 and under. Then, we have the 5K Fun Run. The registration fees for the 5K run will be donated to the Pleasant Hill school designated by each runner when they sign up for the run. After that there is a great parade, followed by the Party in the Park, with games, contests, live entertainment, good food, and non-stop activities for the youngsters. And finally, we cap it all off with a fireworks spectacular at the College Park High School field area.
All of our commission members are volunteers, and all of our expenses are paid by contributions from within our community.
We promise a truly memorable day, and all of it right here in our neighborhood. We wish you a happy and safe Fourth of July, and we look forward to seeing you and sharing the fun and excitement with you.
